KLAFS and Dröm UK Unveil New Surrey Showroom

The showroom opening follows the acquisition of Dröm UK by KLAFS in 2023. The official opening of the 1500 sq. ft facility took place on March 21^st, when representatives from KLAFS and Dröm UK welcomed over 60 guests for a private drinks reception, industry networking and series of speeches. The new showroom is now home to a range of KLAFS products, including the saunas S1, Premium, Aura and Matteo Thun, as well as the new steam foam bath ESPURO®. An exclusive offering for commercial and residential clients, the showroom is just one of two locations across the UK where customers can view the premium products, alongside KLAFS’ Cheshire-based showroom in Knutsford.

KLAFS S1 – The world’s first retractable sauna

With the revolutionary S1 sauna from KLAFS, space is not an issue. With four different sizes (from S to XL) to choose from, you will find the perfect size to suit your living space, and thanks to the S1 Zoom principle, this minimalist designer sauna is completely extendable in just 20 seconds. When retracted, the S1 sauna measures a slim 60 cm no deeper than a normal closet, and extends to 160 cm, offering plenty of space for a relaxed sauna experience.

AURA Sauna

The design concept of the AURA sauna is characterised by comforting exclusivity and visual expanse.  In the luxurious special edition, the ceiling, including its lighting design, curves three-dimensionally towards the viewer, almost resembling a protective treetop. A feeling of security is created without the cabin losing any of its visual spaciousness. The interior panelling options of the AURA sauna include horizontally arranged panels in hemlock, walnut or Swiss pine veneer. With its illuminated ceiling and generous glass front, the AURORA sauna succeeds in aesthetically combining living and wellness. Never has a sauna felt more exclusive.

MATTEO THUN Sauna

This is where design meets manufacture. The collaboration between Matteo Thun, Antonio Rodriguez and KLAFS, brings together architecture, design and a unique expertise in saunas and spas. The innovative design of the MATTEO THUN sauna is characterised by the interplay of wooden slats and joints. The visual opening to the outside plays virtuously with the light. Nevertheless, a view from the outside to the inside is almost impossible. Simple shapes and a preference for warm and natural materials characterise Thun’s product design.

ESPURO Sauna

For commercial clients, whether your establishment is a hotel, spa, thermal bath, health club or cruise ship, the ESPURO foam bath offers guest’s wellness, relaxation and that something extraordinary and special when it comes to escaping the daily routine of life. The foam, which we developed especially for this application, consists of natural ingredients of plant origin, does not collapse and is particularly nourishing for the heated skin. The intertwining of light, sound, heat and foam transforms every ESPURO experience into a voyage of discovery for the senses, transporting the mind and body to another world at the touch of a button.
