Pool and Spa Scene Magazine

The Guncast team were thrilled to win two awards at the 2022 UK Pool and Spa Awards in December, and our success was covered in an event review in Pool and Spa Scene magazine (see Guncast on pages 31,33,34).

The ‘Residential Outdoor Pool 2022 (Over £150k)’ award was secured by our boutique hotel-inspired residential outdoor pool, designed to complement the client’s stunning garden design. It was noted that “Guncast Pools and Wellness wowed the judges with this outstanding luxury residential project”. The swimming pool design incorporates a glass infinity style, with a unique teal glass tile colour.

The Guncast team also took home the coveted ‘Commercial Pool Project of the Year’ award for a swimming pool, spa, and wellness suite designed and built for a luxury residential complex in London. The main swimming pool and the vitality pool of this build are complete with a porcelain finish and feature a constant depth of 1.2 metres. Both pools are versatile in use and are currently delighting guests who can partake in swimming, water aerobics, hydrotherapy, massage, and more.

The Daily Mail / This Is Money

A recent article, featured in The Daily Mail and This Is Money, noted the current trend amongst property buyers of home gyms, swimming pools, and wellness facilities, highlighting Guncast as a provider of swimming pool design and build services. The article discussed the impact this trend has had on the housing market, and the long-term benefits of home fitness.

The KLAFS S1 Sauna, the world’s first retractable sauna, was featured in the December 2022 edition of SPN magazine. The publication highlighted the sauna’s innovative design, style and versatility.

House and Garden Magazine

KLAFS was also mentioned by House and Garden magazine in an article discussing home sauna installation. Journalist Kitty Grady noted KLAFS ‘very good-looking’ installations with interior designer Lucia Caballero, who uses KLAFS products to complete her projects. The article also considered the health benefits of steam and featured a stunning photograph of a KLAFS original hybrid sauna-shower, which perfectly complements Lucia Caballero’s luxurious bathroom design.
